Bumble is looking for an Operations Lead for the Community Marketing Team. Reporting directly to the VP, Community Marketing, you will own key business functions including budget management, executive-level reporting and communication, data analysis to help inform strategic decisions, merchandise inventory and planning, and special projects to help drive business growth. 

In this role, you will be expected to manage the operations team, streamline and improve department reporting and documentation, build and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners to manage competing priorities, and keep an eye on all marketing initiatives amongst the department. You are organized, an excellent communicator, detail oriented, data inspired, and willing to think outside the box to solve problems and drive efficiency. 


  • Own Community Marketing team’s operations; drive efficiencies, streamline and manage team meeting cadence, status reports, organization, and documentation; ensure all processes and procedures are being followed by the department 
  • Keep a pulse on department-wide activities and blindspots; prepare executive-level presentations, quarterly activity reports, briefs, and leadership updates
  • Work with City, Experiential and College Marketing teams to measure success marketing programs; clearly communicate findings from initiatives to management and to the broader organization; work closely with Business Insights and Marketing Analytics to determine success of projects 
  • Manage cross-functional relationships with various stakeholders including: merchandise, partnerships, finance/accounting, legal, and operations teams:
  • Work with merchandise team to manage inventory, budget and timeline for new and existing product, shipping and logistics for community marketing activities 
  • Work with Accounting and Treasury teams to manage payment approvals and prioritization of rush payments; oversee team’s PayPal account control and cash flow 
  • Partner with Legal teams to ensure team meets all compliance requirements, manage prioritization of competing agreements
  • Work with business operations teams to ensure all company wide procedures are being followed 
  • Manage and allocate budget across City, Experiential, and College Marketing teams; work with Finance and Marketing Leadership to forecast budget needs and considerations; adjust set budgets as necessary for evolving programming 
  • Support VP, Community Marketing to determine dedicated resource allocation, responsibilities, and bandwidth across the team for new and evolving projects; hold team accountable to meet team-wide objectives
  • Identify and target areas for operational improvements across the department and amongst cross-functional relationships 


  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Proven track record managing operations and mentoring cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams & building collaborative partnerships with key partners and other cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives at the same time, and working with multiple internal and external teams to ensure programs are launched seamlessly, and to the highest impact
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders often with different priorities, working with them to align and gain approval for the product / solution roadmap
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing data to drive actionable insights to develop marketing plans
  • Updating, creating, and streamlining processes to drive efficiencies
  • Management of executive reporting, compiling data insights to tell a compelling and comprehensive story
