Bumble’s Video Content team is responsible for developing, producing and distributing episodic, social-first content series that increase Bumble’s brand preference and cultural relevance. Our team is looking for a YouTube Media Manager to provide digital marketing support in the development and distribution of awareness and relevance driving campaigns for Bumble. This role will partner with the Senior Marketing Manager (Video Content team) to develop and implement the appropriate YouTube paid media strategy and targeting that aligns with Bumble’s key content objectives. In addition, the Media Manager is responsible for managing all stages of the buying process from campaign set up through campaign reporting and post analysis


Key Accountabilities:

  • Support Senior Marketing Manager in translating media strategy into tactical plan that aligns with Bumble’s key objectives
  • Coordinate multiple campaigns across YouTube
  • Create and executing innovative advertising campaigns for original content series to achieve brand goals
  • Develop, negotiate & monitor buys across Digital partners and platforms 
  • Must be familiar with the different Google and Facebook products and ad formats
  • Work with advertising measurement tools and partner with research team to continually improve upon analytical success metrics related to advertising performance
  • Lead optimization and targeting recommendations as well as budget allocation recommendations to maximise performance based on campaign goals
  • Manage weekly and reporting and present insights/performance to Video Content team
  • Manage existing relationships with media vendors, ensuring we are following content and campaign setup best practices
  • Delivers post-campaign reports with key learnings and recommendations for creative optimization and audience segmentation

Experience We Are Looking For:

  • Extensive knowledge of multiple ad formats, placements and buying metrics, dependant on campaign goals available across Google (Youtube) 
  • Experience running brand lift studies across Youtube and Facebook 
  • Comfortable managing multiple campaigns, audience targeting strategies 
  • Advanced data and analytical skills
  • Possess a strong understanding of bidding algorithms, manual bidding approaches, and appropriate use cases for each
  • Ability to adapt to real-time data inputs and information and prioritize tasks according to business impact
  • Preferred, but not required experience in working with content-first brands (Snapchat, Hulu, Netflix, Refinery29)
  • Platform Experience: Google ads (Youtube - video campaigns) and Facebook/Instagram. Experience managing brand/content campaigns is a plus.
