Badoo is looking for a highly-motivated, self-starting and passionate German Brand Marketing Manager to launch, develop and execute Badoo’s marketing strategy in Germany. Reporting directly to the UK & Germany Brand Marketing Director, this position will focus on actively executing campaigns rooted in Badoo’s core mission: Date Honestly.


  • Lead the launch and execution of our go-to market strategy to establish Badoo’s market position in Germany
  • Adapt, create and execute a 360 marketing strategy to drive growth and and ensure unique brand positioning. Establish and shape Badoo’s brand narrative and positioning to drive brand awareness and positive sentiment
  • Establish Badoo’s BTL marketing activity and execute across key media channels (social media and PR)
  • Develop and implement a plan to establish and grow our German social media channels to engage with our community, develop our social voice and personality 
  • Generate innovative ideas, as well as working closely with the global team to localize global creative assets
  • Develop a press strategy and execute an internal press office that will deliver hard working earned, shared and paid media
  • Work closely with the paid performance team to ensure creative assets reflect our brand positioning
  • Execute an influencer programme - identifying influencers, relationship management, performance and reporting 
  • Leverage data and analytics in strategic decisions by building a marketing plan against specific growth and brand OKR goals
  • Establish relationships with and manage a network of agency partners - setting objectives/goals, ensuring performance against KPIs 
  • Facilitate user research to inform marketing strategy


  • An understanding of the German cultural landscape, consumer market and core demographic
  • Strategic 360 approach to marketing, inclusive of all channels, but particularly BTL media channels (social, PR)
  • Experience in how to develop earned media strategies and proven ability to establish and execute an internal German press office (media strategy, identifying media targets, creating/developing press releases, media relations and effective reporting/evaluation)   
  • Experience managing social media accounts and digital strategies
  • Influencer marketing - identifying influencers, relationship management, reporting tools, performance tracking
  • Experience working with external agencies or agency-side
  • Ability to understand data and analysis to guide planning
  • Worked across functional teams to ensure campaigns are fully integrated and promoted across channels
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Organised and self motivated
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an academic or business specialty
